Terms & Conditions
Deposit and Payment
A deposit of 25% of total price is required to confirm an order and secure pricing. 25% of total price is due thirty days (30) before event. ALL ORDERS MUST BE PAID IN FULL PRIOR TO THE EVENT. We accepted MasterCard, Visa, and American Express, Company check. Returned check is subject to paid fees.
Guest Count Guarantee
Clients shall specify 10 days prior to the event the exact number of guests to be in attendance. This shall constitute a guaranteed minimum. Guest count increases may be accepted if confirmed five (5) working business days before the event, Client’s initials --- To ensure our promise of service excellent, we cannot changes after that time. We are not responsible for a greater number of people than the guaranteed minimum.
Cancellations
In case of cancellation, notice shall be given in writing. Refunds will be determined by the date of cancellation in relation to the function date. Cancellation made 4 months or more prior to event will receive a 50% refund.
Linen Rentals
Customers will be charged replacement cost of all damaged linens. This includes holes, cigarette burns, snags and tears, permanent marker, and etc. Custom color and additional linens are available. Price is available upon request.
Client’s Property
A Splendid Touch Catering will not hold item or accepted responsibility for client’s properties such as cake top, vases, service ware, etc for use at their event.
Substitutions
A Splendid Touch Catering must reserve the right to make substitutions when market conditions dictated, or for any reason beyond our control. All substitutions will be comparable or greater value, and if possible you will be notified.
Pricing
While A Splendid Touch Catering strived to ensure accuracy, we reserve the right to correct any errors in pricing and descriptions and to cancel or refuse to accept any order based on an incorrect price or description. Price is subject to change without notice due to market condition.
Leftover Foods Products and Miscellaneous
A Splendid Touch Catering reserves the right to remove all leftover food products not consumed by the end of event. Trash will be bagged and left on premises. If client does take any leftover, it then becomes the client responsibility for proper refrigeration and handling. A Splendid Touch Catering is not responsible for any mishandling and consumption of leftover foods after the event. Client assumes responsibility for any damage to item provided by caterer for their event caused by guests of that event. ASTC is not responsible for damage or replacement of client’s items or property used during or for their event at client’s request. Client waives any claims for damages based upon embarrassment, humiliation, or other damage to sensitivities.
Service Charge
20% service charge will be added to all events for processing, administration fees, insurances, and other operations expenses. Sales tax must be applied to all food, beverages, rental, and delivery charges.
